An organic winding cluster of bodies. Solitary units bending, twisting, and adapting around each other in an acrobatic act to find a new togetherness. A rendezvous? A gathering? A collision? Closer is a series of glass sculpture created to remined us that we need each other to perform the choreography of life.

It is in the meeting with others we create ourselves as well as our surrounding. We inspire, imitate, influence, and reflect one another. It is a dynamic process where we alternately need to give and take as well as to lead and follow. It takes practice, curiosity, and courage to perform this dance and it demands us to reflect on our generosity, intimacy and sensibility.

Closer is a freehand blown sculpture and the work process require a skilled and experienced glassblowing team. Each sculpture has its own unique expression and is documented and numbered.
