Blazing Grace - Svenska institutet Paris

2025 marked the 100th anniversary of the 1925 Arts Décoratifs exhibition in Paris, where the Swedish Grace movement and Swedish glass gained international acclaim. Inspired by this history, Institut suédois wanted to presented a group exhibition of contemporary Swedish glass during Paris Design Week, showcasing the field’s progressive development.

For the show I invited Kirsten Hermansson Vikingstad, Fredrik Nielsen, Hanna Hansdotter, Maria Bang Espersen, and Peter Hermansson, all based in Sweden but active internationally. The show was a major success, attracting over 13,000 visitors and receiving extensive media coverage.
